Terms of service
Effective October 30, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Raz Ben-Davar ("Loopline", "we") for using Loopline, a platform for sending loops to other producers and seeing what happens to them.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Loopline.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your @username is yours while your account exists. You can change it once every 30 days. We may reclaim names that impersonate someone or infringe a trademark.
2. Your loops stay yours
You keep all rights to the audio you upload. To run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store your files, analyse them (tempo, key, length and waveform), show them to you, and deliver them to the producers you send them to. This licence ends when the loop is deleted, except for copies already in packs you sent (see section 4).
Only upload audio you made or have the right to share, including any samples inside it.
3. Sending packs
- You can only send packs to producers who are your friends on Loopline.
- Sending a pack lets its recipients play, save and download those loops. Whether and how they can use a loop in their own music (credits, splits, publishing) is between you and them. Loopline isn't part of that agreement.
- When you receive a pack, the sender sees when you open it and when you play, save, like or download its loops. This is how Loopline works, in both directions.
4. Deleting loops and your account
You can delete a loop or your whole account at any time from the app. Sent packs work like sent email: loops you already sent stay available to the people who received them, and the activity on those packs stays in both sides' history. Our privacy policy lists exactly what's removed and what's kept.
5. Plans and limits
- The free plan includes 10 uploads and 30 sent packs, counted over the life of the account. Deleting a loop doesn't give an upload back. A pack counts once, however many people receive it.
- The Home prompt has a daily limit, shown in the app.
- Paid plans aren't available yet. When they are, their prices and billing terms will be added here before anyone is charged.
6. Rules
Don't use Loopline to:
- upload audio that infringes someone else's rights;
- harass, threaten or impersonate other producers, or spam friend requests;
- upload anything other than audio loops, or anything harmful (malware, hidden data);
- scrape the service, get around plan limits or rate limits, or access other people's data;
- break the law.
7. Suspension and termination
We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
8. The service
Loopline is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your files safe, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of your loops. Tempo and key are estimated automatically and can be wrong.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other producers do with loops you send them. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes go to the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel, unless the law where you live gives you the right to sue there.
11. Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change applies. Questions: legal@loopline.fm.
Privacy policy
Effective October 30, 2026
What Loopline collects, who sees it, and what happens when you leave. Loopline is run by Raz Ben-Davar, Tel Aviv, Israel, who is responsible for your data. Questions about it: privacy@loopline.fm.
1. What we collect
Account
Your email address and how you sign in. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider; Loopline never sees your password.
Profile
Your @username, display name, bio, tags, social links, profile photo, banner, region, and date and time preferences.
Loops
The audio files you upload, their titles, collaborator credits, and the tempo, key, length and waveform we work out from the audio.
Friends and packs
Your friends, friend requests, blocked producers, producer lists, the packs you send and receive, and notifications.
Activity on packs
When you open a pack you received, and when you play, save, like or download its loops.
Home prompts
The text you type into the Home prompt, and a count of prompts per day for the daily limit.
Technical
Our hosting providers keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser) for security and debugging, for up to 30 days.
2. Who sees what
- Other producers can see your profile. Who can see your friends list depends on your setting (only you, friends or everyone).
- The sender of a pack sees when you opened it and which loops you played, saved, liked or downloaded. When you send a pack, you see the same about its recipients.
- The recipients of a pack get the loops in it, with their titles and details.
- Your loops aren't public. Only you and the people you send them to can hear them.
3. How we use it
Only to run Loopline: to sign you in, store and analyse your loops, deliver packs, show activity and notifications, enforce plan limits, and keep the service secure. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or ad tracking. The only outside reporting is Sentry's error reports, which we use to fix bugs.
Legal basis (where GDPR applies): performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and preventing abuse.
4. Services that process your data for us
Some of these providers store data outside your country, including in the United States (Clerk and Anthropic). Where they do, they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Deleting your account
Settings → Account → Delete account. Because sent packs work like sent email:
Removed
- Your profile details, photo and banner. Your profile becomes "Deleted producer".
- Every loop you never sent, including its audio file.
- Friends, friend requests, blocks, producer lists, your notifications, Home prompt counts, and your collaborator credits on other producers' loops.
- Your sign-in account.
Kept
- Loops you sent, and their files, stay with the people who received them. They leave your library.
- Packs, and the plays, likes, saves and downloads on them, so the other side's history and analytics still add up.
- Your @username stays reserved so nobody else can take it. Loop titles that mention it stay as written.
- A keyed hash of your verified email (not the email itself), so if you sign up again with the same email you can get your @username back.
6. Your rights
You can see and change most of your data in the app. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to restrict or object to how we use it, by writing to privacy@loopline.fm. We'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority).
7. Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit, and database rules make sure each producer can only reach their own data and what was sent to them. We keep your data while your account exists, and handle deletion as described in section 5.
8. Children
Loopline isn't for anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we'll delete it.
9. Changes
We'll tell you in the app before a significant change to this policy applies.
Cookies
Effective October 30, 2026
Loopline only stores what it needs to sign you in and remember your choices. No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there's nothing to accept or decline.
What we store
These are strictly necessary for the service or remember a choice you made, so they don't need consent. If you block them in your browser, you won't be able to sign in.
If we ever add anything else, we'll list it here and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
